About this example
The established PlantGrowth dataset contains dried plant weights for a control and two treatment conditions, with ten plants in each group. The source is the R datasets package, reproduced here with the same values used by Scientific Plot Maker.
Boxes use type-7 quartiles rather than the small-sample hinges used by default R boxplot.stats. Whiskers end at observed values inside inclusive 1.5-IQR fences. Displaying these groups does not perform an inferential comparison.
