1. The service
CleanFigure provides browser-based tools for creating research figures. The tools run on your device; the data you enter is not sent to our servers.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the data you enter and to the figures, files and code you export. You may use them for any purpose, including publication, without asking us. You are responsible for having the right to use the data you enter.
3. Check your results
We work hard to make the tools correct, but figures and statistics are provided as-is. You are responsible for checking that figures, numbers and statistical results are correct and appropriate before you publish or rely on them.
4. Templates and third-party material
Some tools follow published templates, such as the PRISMA 2020 flow diagram (CC BY 4.0). When you use them, follow the original licence, for example by citing the source. See How to cite.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent its security, or use it to break the law. Automated bulk use that degrades the service for others is not allowed.
6. Paid plans
Paid plans are not available yet. When they launch, their prices, billing and refund terms will be shown before purchase and added to these terms.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, CleanFigure is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and the service. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.
