About this example

Journals often limit the number of display items, so reviews combine the study flow with the risk-of-bias assessment. Two tall panels fit side by side in equal columns, each made at 85.5 mm so the figure fills a 174 mm double column.

With the automatic arrangement, up to three panels share a row at double-column width and at most two at single-column width; the panel letters follow the order of the list and can be switched to lowercase for Nature journals.

Each panel was made in its own CleanFigure tool at the width of its cell, so the text keeps its size. Open the example, replace the data with your own, and export the figure as SVG, PDF, PNG or TIFF.
