About this example
Trial reports often open the results with the flow of participants and follow it with the main time-to-event outcome. Placing both in one figure keeps the numbers randomised, analysed and at risk side by side for the reader.
The flow diagram spans the page so its boxes stay legible; the survival curves sit in a single-column cell. The two panels come from different example datasets here, so the numbers do not correspond: in your own figure they would come from the same trial.
The data
| Panel A | CONSORT flow diagram |
|---|---|
| Panel B | Kaplan–Meier curves |
Each panel was made in its own CleanFigure tool at the width of its cell, so the text keeps its size. Open the example, replace the data with your own, and export the figure as SVG, PDF, PNG or TIFF.
