Save a project file to keep your category values and figure settings. Open it in this editor to revise the figure later. Choosing an example replaces your table and chart settings but keeps your size and style; Undo example brings your previous work back.

Frequently asked questions

What data does a pie chart need?

Two columns: a distinct category name and a non-negative value. The categories should be parts of one meaningful whole.

How are percentages calculated?

Each category value is divided by the sum of all valid values. Percentages are rounded only for display.

What happens to zero or missing values?

Zero values stay listed but have no visible slice. Blank or NA values are excluded and reported. Negative values block the figure.
