About this example
A scatter plot keeps each height measurement paired with its leaf-area measurement. Unequal spacing on the horizontal axis represents the actual numeric differences between plants.
The points are unconnected and no correlation, regression coefficient or significance test is calculated. Label both axes with units before replacing these illustrative pairs with your observations.
