About this example
Grouped columns compare two supplied series within each site. The Control value at Site B is zero and the Control value at Site C is negative; neither is treated as a missing observation.
The bars are prepared values, not automatically calculated group means. There are no error bars or significance tests, so label the quantity explicitly and avoid suggesting precision that the table does not supply.
The data
| Category | Control | Treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Site A | 10 | 15 |
| Site B | 0 | 8 |
| Site C | -4 | 6 |
These are supplied category values, not raw observations to aggregate. No uncertainty or significance is calculated. Open the example, replace the data with your own, and export the figure as SVG, PDF, PNG or TIFF.
